About The Event

Celebrando Jóvenes con Visión is the formal launch and fundraising event for Empower Youth Latinx, created to celebrate and uplift Latinx youth leadership and community. This powerful evening will feature performances by Latinx youth and cultural groups, storytelling displays that highlight the impact of our programs, and a live auction to raise vital funds for year-round youth programming.

Proceeds from the event will help cover essential costs such as venue rental, food provided by local Latinx-owned vendors, sound and stage production, and honorariums for youth performers and cultural contributors.

We will also spotlight local Latinx-owned businesses through sponsored booths, printed materials, and event exposure—amplifying entrepreneurship and connection within our community.

Huitzilopochtli

Their Mission:
To teach indigenous Aztec culture and traditions through dance, music and the arts.
To sustain the teachings of Aztec Dance Captain Jose Carlos Sandoval.

Marv Media World

Marvin Morazan is an artist, multimedia specialist, and mentor.

Originally from Honduras, Marvin has a deep love for music and video production and is also a proud father.

For the performance, he is going to sing a few songs and share a bit of his life story growing up in Honduras.

MJ Calderon

MJ Calderon is a dreamer, born in Mexico and raised in Oregon. He loves all forms of art in every way it shows up, but his true passion lies in writing and music.

MJ will be doing a live read aloud of his book, A Kids Book About Immigration.
