Youth Advisory Board

The Youth Advisory Board (YAB) is a vital part of Empower Youth Latinx (EYL), a youth-led organization dedicated to uplifting Latinx communities. YAB was created to ensure that EYL’s initiatives are led by youth, for youth—centering their voices, experiences, and leadership. It provides Latinx youth with the opportunity to shape programs and initiatives, build leadership skills while representing the needs and aspirations of their communities, and collaborate with peers and mentors to create impactful change.
